Today I got a bit of office-bants about the picture I uploaded to this blog yesterday. To be fair, I probably deserved it, and I definitely appreciated it.

There’s a running thing in the office wherein every couple of months one of the guys in finance takes a picture of me and edits into some kind of album cover. He’s done three so far. It started in summer when he ran riot with one of my holiday photos and, to be fair to him, I was really impressed with the production value.

It even came with it’s own tracklist:

That was the summer album. The quality of the Autumn and Winter albums was high, but not quite as high as that initial one. Today, Mike From Finance delivered the Spring album, and this one came with promotional material.

He’s printed off and stuck up posters all around the office and kitchen (I’m assuming there’s a few of them, at least, but I’ve only seen one)

Apparently this is my darker, more emotionally led album — as you can see by the reviews on the poster.

I guess after two underperforming albums, the marketing team behind this latest release are really pushing for a success, with no expense spared… Except colour, that is. I guess they couldn’t push for coloured ink. Or maybe the black and white is supposed to represent the darker period through which my music is headed.

Until tomorrow, yeah, that’s probably it.
