Today it felt weird not to be playing golf all day. After four days of non-stop golf, I didn’t really know what I was supposed to do with myself. My cousin did actually suggest playing today, but I couldn’t bring myself to go from this course yesterday:
To this course today:
It’s a bit of a downgrade.
I promise that the golf-related blogs will stop soon, I just need to figure out/remember what I’m supposed to be doing with my days if I’m not playing golf.
It turned out that today what I did with my day off from playing golf was spend a day watching golf. It’s Masters weekend and day three got quite exciting. Or, as exciting as golf can get. It’s not really much of a spectator sport, and that’s coming from someone who plays it. Watching the highlights is good because you know every shot is going to be a good one, but watching it live is an absolute slog sometimes.
So at some point I’m going to have to re-integrate myself with non-golfing society, so around that time I hope that these daily blog posts will become more interesting. Unless of course, you are actually interested in golf, in which case you’ll be as enthused as I’ve been over the last few days.
After the Masters is over we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled content of manic-depressive moaning and not-so-internal screaming, I swear.
Until tomorrow, McIlroy probably needs to shoot 65 again tomorrow to have any chance of going home with the Green Jacket and a Major Grand Slam.
