Today I’m in London for a “big night out” in Fabric. I put that bit in air quotes because 1) one of the guys keeps saying it and 2) because I’m really not feeling up for it.
I went on an impromptu night out in my hometown last night (which you’ll have already gathered if you read the completely incomprehensible drivel that was last night’s blog post — sorry about that) and I woke up this morning absolutely ruined.
For some reason, I woke up at 7am, even though I’d hoped to sleep until midday to rest up for tonight. Because, as earlier described, it’s going to be “big”. And I am so not ready for it. I struggled through my morning, afternoon and train ride feeling absolutely no enthusiasm, as well as a little bit sick, and arrived in London already thinking about leaving.
I feel like I could do with a nap, but there’s no chance I’ll get one. A few beers made me feel slightly better, but the fact that I won’t be asleep for another 10 hours is saddening me.
Until tomorrow, I’m getting too old for this shit.
