Today I almost broke the streak by napping for too long. I was so exhausted when I got home from work that I got straight into bed and went for what was going to be a quick nap. I woke up three hours later dazed, confused, and not entirely sure that day it was.

I napped so that I could restore enough energy in order to go for my daily run, but when I woke up I for a second thought I’d just slept through the rest of the day. Come 8 o’clock it’s pitch black now anyway, so waking up to darkness could well have meant it was 8pm or 3am.

Thankfully though, it was 8pm, and I could go for my run, even though I still felt tired, groggy, and a bit hungover.

Until tomorrow, now I’m going back to bed.
