Today the starters were as ever better than the main. I think maybe it’s because there’s more difference between the starters i order than the mains I order.

I basically ordered two red curries for mains, one with duck, one with chicken, and they all kind of blend in together. With starters, though, every bite is different:

I had chicken wings, and tempura prawns, and pork dim sum, and sweet corn fritters. There’s so much variation that every bite is different. And that’s what you want, really.

Even the red and white cabbage was a nice touch.

Until tomorrow, the duck was good, but the starters are where it’s at.
