Today I started recruiting for my first direct report. That seems like a noteworthy thing to have happened in a sea of unremarkable workdays.
I rarely write about work, and when I do it’s usually negative, but that’s something positive worth writing about, at least.
Honestly, I don’t know how I’ll fair or what it’ll be like, but I need help, and I desire progress. This feels like the next step, and that’s always what I’m after.
Comfort is danger, stasis is death.
I need something to make me feel uncomfortable. And I need something to keep me moving forward. And this is a good thing. And I’m excited to see how it works out.
Until tomorrow, comfort is danger, stasis is death.
