Today I played golf at the beautiful Minchinhampton Avening course.

I’m fortunate that whenever we organise a game of golf with the Uni lads, it ends up being at a course near me, as the Cotswolds are a nice midpoint between South Wales and London.

I feel bad, in a way, but also not. It’s a beautiful part of the country, and minchinhampton was a great course. It just happens to be closer to me than anyone else.

Also I lost, so I don’t feel too bad. I actually played quite well, annoyingly. But Sam shot +2 on the whole back nine so there’s not much I could do about that.

Something more my speed, however, was the roast dinner we had afterwards at The Langton.

Now that I finished first.
