Today was emotionally draining. One of those work days where you leave feeling like your face hurts. Body aches, brain aches, the rest of it.

In a way, it was invigorating, and fulfilling, because I got a lot done, and I felt useful — in some ways — but it was just a lot.

I needed exactly one beer when I got home. And a lie down. And I was alright after that, mostly.

Until tomorrow, back at it again in the morning.
