October 7th 2019 Today I started running again, and it was cold and full of puddles but it was great fun. I signed up to go with two of the faster, more frequent runners at our work running club and … Continue reading Puddles

September 5th 2019 Today I won the final round of this golf holiday by chipping in for a par on the 16th of Vale de Pinta. Jake was on the green ready to putt for net par, and I’ve kind … Continue reading Pinta
September 4th 2019 Today I creamed the front nine and bottled the back nine of the Vale do Lobo Royal course. I birdied the second hole, sank a thirty foot putt on four and drilled a six iron onto the … Continue reading Royal

There’s this trend going around Instagram called “100 Days Of Sweat” wherein, and get this, you sweat for 100 days. Or, more accurately and less grossly, you do some form of exercise every day for 100 days. Sweating all day every day would not be fun. I’ve done a 21 consecutive day … Continue reading Sweat

I’m not a fantastic footballer, but the one thing that has always given me an advantage when I play five/six-a-side is that I can run fast, and I can run far. Well, I used to be able to. When everyone else was struggling towards the end of the match, I’d still be sprinting up and down the pitch, and that made me look better than I probably am. That’s gone now though, it seems. The reason my fitness has gone is that … Continue reading Puffed
