Controller

October 24th 2020

Today I’m at my sister’s for Thai food and quiz games. I didn’t win most of the quiz games, but the most important thing is that Steven didn’t win any. If I was not to win, it was just important to me that Steven didn’t.

Mostly because he beat me by an aggregate score of 24-4 over four games of FIFA. In my defence, for one of those games I was playing with a faulty controller. In his defence, when I played with a working controller I didn’t do much better.

With a broken controller I lost 9-1. With a working controller I lost 8-1. So really, a broken controller is worth a single goal. That’s not gone well.

You didn’t win at Knowledge is Power, though, did you Steven?

Until tomorrow, and that’s what really matters, probably.
