Today I had my first cheese board of Christmas. And then four hours later I had my second one. On Christmas day, I preferred to fill myself up with a second serving of Christmas dinner, rather than opt for the after-dinner food.

And then there were too many leftovers yesterday to consider a cheeseboard. And so, I doubled up today.

Cheeseboards are a Christmas staple. I branched out a bit this year and went stinky with some Roquefort and some Brie. The former better than the latter. Also good: cold meats and chutneys.

Until tomorrow, I’ll take a hard pass on Wensleydale though.
